Promoting Student Wellness: National Deworming Day at PSV College
Event Overview
The Department of Commerce and the Deworming Day Cell of PSV College successfully organized an awareness and distribution drive for National Deworming Day today. This vital health initiative was conducted in close collaboration with the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Mullodai, to ensure the well-being of our student community.
The program was honored by the presence of a dedicated medical team, including:
Dr. Samaya, Chief Medical Officer
Mrs. Lakshmi and Mr. Harish, Staff Nurses
Mrs. KalaSelvi, Anganwadi Staff
Mrs. Muthazhagi, ASHA Worker
The visiting team interacted directly with the students, providing essential health guidance and overseeing the deworming process.
A special note of appreciation goes to Mrs. R. Rajeswari, Assistant Professor and Nodal Lecturer for Deworming Day, whose meticulous planning and organization made this event a success. We have included a few snapshots from the day below to highlight the event's impact.
