About the Department

The Department of Computer Applications (B.C.A) at PSV College of Arts and Science was established to train competent IT professionals with a strong foundation in modern computing technologies. The department is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge education in software development, data management, and computer networking.

The program emphasizes a balance between theoretical computer science concepts and hands-on practical skills. Students engage in mandatory programming labs, real-world software projects, and internships. The curriculum is regularly updated to align with industry trends like Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Mobile Application Development, ensuring our graduates are industry-ready.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

Candidates should have passed **+2 / Higher Secondary Examination** or its equivalent from a recognized board with **Mathematics / Computer Science / Business Maths / Statistics** as one of the major subjects.

Minimum Marks

A minimum of **45% aggregate marks** (Relaxation for SC/ST as per norms).

3 Years (6 Semesters)
