Artistry for Advocacy: PSV Students Showcase Talents at District-Level Road Safety Competitions
Event Overview
On January 24, 2026, PSV College of Arts and Science showcased the perfect blend of creativity and social responsibility at the district-level Rangoli Competition held at Tagore Government Arts and Science College. Organized by the Transport Department of Puducherry as a cornerstone of National Road Safety Month, the event challenged students to visualize the theme: "Road Safety for College Students."
Our talented team, comprising K. Kaviyaselvan, S. Keerthiga, and S. Priyadharshini, represented PSV College with exceptional skill and dedication. Through their intricate rangoli designs, they transformed traffic rules and safety regulations into vibrant visual narratives, emphasizing the critical role young citizens play in making our roads safer. By participating in this high-profile district event, our students successfully used traditional art to reinforce modern safety messages, proving that awareness is most impactful when it engages both the heart and the mind.
