Event Overview
The Puducherry National Service Scheme (NSS), in collaboration with the Transport Department, Puducherry, successfully organized a dynamic First Aid and Fire Safety Awareness Program on January 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The initiative focused on empowering students with critical emergency response skills essential for real-life situations.
Volunteers from the NSS Unit of PSV College of Arts and Science actively engaged in hands-on training sessions covering basic first aid techniques, wound care, CPR fundamentals, and effective fire extinguisher usage. Expert trainers from the Transport Department conducted live demonstrations and scenario-based learning, highlighting the importance of road safety, accident preparedness, and swift emergency response.
The program reinforced the NSS commitment to social responsibility, safety awareness, and community preparedness, equipping students with skills that can truly make a difference in saving lives.
